Awesome recap, Rhonda, and thanks so much for the shout out. I would love to attend GeekGirlCon someday! Another awesome con to fit into my budget. Why does everything have to be so far away? Ha!
As a writer, utopYA Con sounds educational and fascinating! If only it wasn't on the other side of the country….
My book recommendations!
Beach: Rat Queens by Kurtis J. Wiebe, from Image Comics (ridiculous, hilarious, kind of campy graphic novel that is fairly new)
Mountains: Kushiel's Dart by Jacqueline Carey (first book in an epic fantasy series that I turn to whenever I want something to sink my teeth into)
International: Collected Poems by Jack Gilbert (lovely collection of poems)
