This is your Buffy the Vampire Spoiler Warning. Consider yourself warned. But seriously, it’s a 20-year old show; you already know what happens. We here at The Geek Embassy love Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The seminal late-90’s horror/drama show was my introduction to dynamic and independent female characters. BTVS shaped my appreciation for the greater “sci-fi/fantasy” umbrella genre; for me, it is a timeless vehicle by which to explore complex motifs and themes. But I’ve given up on stories that didn’t annoy me to the lengths that Girls

Earlier this year, Regina and I commented that The Big Bang Theory may have run its course. Since 1966, Star Trek has entertained generations of fans with its space adventures into the future. Pop culture has never been the same. With such influence, it is no surprise that Star Trek’s television and movie presence would make its way into the music industry as well. From its cast members down to its everyday fans, music has been taken where no man has gone before.
Admit it, you’re a Trekkie. You’ve seen Star Trek Beyond, okaym maybe more than once, and now you’re jonesing for more. You’ve busted out your DVDs of the previous movies. You’ve put on your headset and tried the latest Star Trek Online: Agents of Yesterday. You’ve even changed your cell phone notification to that communicator beeping sound.
